I didn't have my tripod with me in San Diego so this shot was made from an improvised base.
My friend Byron poked around and found two 5 gallon pails that he stacked on each other.
The camera was set atop the buckets and the 30 second image you see was made.

Wow! The amber color of the lights really came out great. It's funny how the small colored light sorces really show up large in the water. You should sell versions of that tripod!

I kind of like the silhouette on the lower right to anchor the foreground.
