Malaysia is a Moslem democracy with a multicultural population. The majority population is Malay and mostly Moslem, and the second most populous group are of Chinese ancestry. A third large group is Peranakans who Chinese settlers who adopted Malay ways. This image, for me, captures the sense of the two dominant cultures of Malaysia. |
