Gesture was the hardest concept for me to grasp. With people it can be an actual gesture like the bodies of the skateboarders, or the eye of the photographer. But it can also be in the meaning in the images of the headstones, or the decoration of statues, or the use of a hubcap for decoration, or the drama of a sky as it prepares to thunderstorm, or the wearing away of a religious icon. I hope I have made a dent in my understanding of gesture.
