Prime Hook NWR - Delaware

Female perched near their nesting sight in tall grass and short bushes.
Took several shots; in this one, I backed out the warm colors of the setting sun to show more of her coloration.

We have here in the netherlands also some Grosbeak, a little bit different. Great capture nice free in this setting ! Normally over here hard to photograph they live high in the trees.
