Happy New Year!

I want to take this opportunity to let you all know how much being a part of Pbase has meant to me! I started posting PAD images three days
before my Mom’s horrific fall in April 2005. I came so close to quitting, as I was overwhelmed with what we were facing as a family with my
Mom’s recovery. Instead, I found this site to be incredible ‘therapy’! I found friends and support that I never dreamed I would find from a
photography site! For as we all know, this is sooo much more than a photo site! Yes, there are incredibly talented and gifted
photographers throughout this site, but there are also some of the most wonderful, supportive and caring people who
have become very dear friends! And I want to thank each and every one of you!

I wish for each of you a New Year filled with happiness, good health, the love of family and dear friends! With those, what more could one want?!
Well, maybe a Canon 5D…. ! But my 10D will be fine for now! ;-)

I look forward to continuing our friendships and our photo sharing in the New Year!

I agree with everything your saying, having found out these past few days just what a community of unity pbase is. I know there are times when we find ourselves grumpy with red x's or slow download times, but can you imagine what it would be like if we never had the site...! A lot of good has come from your rocky days at the beginning & right now with your own problems, but you have always remained bright & supportive & provided us with 1st class photography.
