Detail of Bride's Gown

This is a *cheat* shot, in that I photographed this bride a while ago, and it was shot with (**gasp**) FILM!!
But the scan was honestly processed today! That little pin removal yesterday is causing a bit more pain than I anticipated
(like little knife blades in my toe!), and so I am resorting to posting a 'processed today' shot! (Also in my Black and White Gallery.)

Since someone asked, this was just shot in October 2005! I still shoot some film! Don't kick me off Pbase!!!!

Really a fantastic B&W. I hope you are feeling better now (pin removal).

Excellent shot. I love the treatment. It looks like a very nice gown. I like to shoot film every once and awhile. Although I am slowly selling some of my old gear. Not all of it though!

Whatever the 'media' it's the image that counts and this one is stunning!! Perfect composition/crop...love the light and treatment. Wonderful delicacy conveyed by the details of the gown, and in the contour of form. Brillant, Mindy, well done!

Shot with film, how long was it then? Very well processed with the noise though :)

Oh my god, Mindy, this shot is just perfect! Even though it wasn't shot digital ;) Love the little bit of hair and veil a the top and the colors of the dress are just perfect. I see you are making good use of your time tied down by your surgery.
