The Tale of TWO Broken Feet 2010

In a split second on the Fourth of July... I stepped into a small divot in a lawn.... ended in two broken feet, a broken ankle bone, a hairline
fracture in my left wrist and an ambulance ride to the hospital!!! Managed to climb over red rocks all over the Valley of Fire, Nevada and
hike around Alaska for weeks, but a front lawn got the best of me!! After four days in St. Margaret's Hospital and five full weeks in
Cranberry Place Rehab, I am finally home!!!! Home August 13th! A HUGE thanks to my parents who have run around like crazy
helping me throughout this ordeal!! And a huge thanks to my sister Meredith who brought me good edible food, my niece who
came and dyed my hair (a must!!), my two great-nieces who always put a huge smile on my face when they came to
visit, my friends and other family members who kept in touch with me through visits, calls, Internet and
prayers, to my fellow patients at Cranberry Place who kept me encouraged and smiling,
and to all the incredible therapists, aides and nurses at Cranberry Place!!!
You all are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And to the nutrition that helped me heal in HALF the time
that the orthopedic surgeon predicted, thank you RELIV!!!

so glad you are back home now, and that your family made sure you were being looked after while in the rehab center.... now take care on those lawns!
