How I'm doing resolution measurements

As the contributing editor for the Croatian photographic magazine FotoMag, during 2004. I have started publishing my lens tests that included resolution measurements. As the brief article format doesn't allow for extensive lens review, I tried to present here all the interesting findings that didn't find space on FotoMag's pages. Please notice that resolution results presented as Excel tables are exclusive property of FotoMag, so they won't be presented here.
As of Ocrober 2004. I have started using Norman Koren's measuring package Imatest (www.imatest.com) for all the digital camera and lens tests. That raised the overall precision and comparability between various results. All the tehnical details are given within Imatest gallery included here.
Mayority of tests performed using single lens sample, so the results might not be a good representative of that particular lens. When results deviate significantly from expected, lens is retested and if satisfactory results are still not achieved, another sample is obtained for testing.
