Some of our museums allow photography and some don't. We always ask before we go in. Although this place had no restriction on flash either, I only used available light. Paul did take some flash shots. Most places will not allow a tripod or even a monopod either - so we have learned to brace against walls, or posts or whatever is available. The rooms here all had wrought-iron type cages at the doorways so you couldn't enter the rooms. Fortunately they were wide enough to shoot through.

Looks like a nice place to visit, very interesting. There are very few properties in UK which will allow photography inside, and then flash is a big No No!
