It really shouldn't be missed.

You can soak up its edgy urban vitality and then take a short walk to relax in one of its glorious green spaces—the huge Parc Lafontaine or the wonderful Parc Jeanne-Mance. For cocktail hour or for an evening out, the Plateau has bars ranging from fashionable martini lounges to casual pubs where you can enjoy a pitcher of beer with friends.

Le Plateau Mont-Royal renferme nombre de secrets et de charmes qui en font un des quartiers les plus sympathiques de Montréal. Aujourd’hui, il est une véritable destination touristique à l’instar d’autres quartiers reconnus dans certaines villes du monde (Soho et Greenwich Village, par exemple). N’est-il pas la meilleure fenêtre de la vie quotidienne des Montréalais? Les visiteurs apprécient cette cité naturelle d’artistes où l’on retrouve plusieurs lieux de diffusion culturelle reconnus, une vie commerciale très dynamique avec ses boutiques spécialisées, ses petits restos sympa et ses petites auberges et gîtes touristiques à l’allure campagnarde. Vraiment, il serait dommage de ne pas s’arrêter dans les nombreux bars et cafés du quartier, de ne pas profiter des nombreuses activités de ce secteur à la foule bigarrée où l’ancien côtoie le nouveau.

Passer du temps sur le Plateau c’est pouvoir profiter de l’animation urbaine et aller se rafraîchir ensuite à deux pas dans l’immense Parc-Lafontaine ou le magnifique Parc Jeanne-Mance. Visiter ce quartier c’est aller au théâtre et au resto, à la galerie d’art, faire du vélo sur des kilomètres et des kilomètres de pistes cyclables… Le Plateau, c’est un monde d’activités à découvrir!

Qui dit Plateau dit nightlife! Le soir venu, d’innombrables bars, discothèques, lounges et cafés animent le quartier et font vibrer les foules jusqu’aux petites heures du matin. Que ce soit pour un cinq à sept ou pour passer une agréable soirée, les bars du Plateau vont du pub où on savoure un pichet de bière entre amis au lounge branché où les martinis sont à l’honneur.
