Looking down river from the Red Fort towards the Taj Mahal. The Emperor Shah Jahan built the Taj as a tomb for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, but after it was completed the Emperor was overthrown by one of his sons, and imprisoned in the Red Fort, to spend the rest of his days looking at his beloved wife's tomb.
