I have taken a number of photos of the fishing fleet at Chatham, but rarely do I seem all in port. The morning I took this photo was a cold raw one, temps in the 20s and a strong northerly wind which made the skiffs drift backs and forth around the dock. The parking lot at the fishing pier was empty. The dark clouds in the background had dropped a light dusting of snow before moving off to leave the sky clear so that sun could highlight the fleet.
