Ox-Eye Daisy Chrysanthemum leucanthemum

I cycled out to a nearby lake one evening, and found this flower growing in great crowds along the waters edge. A huge range of butterflies were skipping through the air, while bees buzzed between the fast-food nectar stops; on many of the flowers spiders waited patiently for their next insect meal. I photographed this individual with a reflector against the setting sun, using some bushes in the background to break up it's powerful light. ISO 100, f5.6, 1/100th sec.
