Gdansk

Gdansk - is the city at the centre of the fourth-largest metropolitan area in Poland.
It is Poland's principal seaport as well as the capital of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
It is also historically the largest city of the Kashubian region.
The city lies on the southern edge of Gdañsk Bay (of the Baltic Sea), in a
conurbation with the spa town of Sopot, the city of Gdynia and suburban communities,
which together form a metropolitan area called the Tricity,
making it the largest city in the Pomerania region of Northern Poland.

Excellent Gallery, very good pictures , looking at your pictures, I was back , very far away to the time I was a kid and the name Danzig was very often listen in my family political discussions. It was a time germans where in Gdansk and then invade Poland. More recent days, again Gdansk was up in the news, about the Syndicate of the shipyard, Solidarity in english, where the communist wall start up to fall down. I like pictures with a meaning, with a message, with something to make us go further than only look at. Congratulation, Michal , for a very fine work. Now I know better your home country.
