Baby Moose, Denali Park
This picture was taken in Denali National Park along the Savage River. The amazing thing about it is, that I was shooting the mother moose and the twin to this one. I thought I was obeying all the rules and not getting between a mother and her offspring when I turned around and this guy was standing behind me. I quickly took this shot and got the heck out of there before Mama got upset.

Moose Calf, Denali Park
This is the twin to Baby Moose. He stood munching about 50 feet from his mother while all the visitors took pictures of them and the other moose who had come into the area. It was the beginning of the rut so you had to keep watch on where the adults were and where you were.

Cow and bull yearlings, Denali Park
These two were just down wind from one of the biggest bulls I have ever seen. The young bull was a bit restless and eventually crossed the river and kept looking upstream, but the cow stayed pretty much where she was and kept eating.

Bull Moose, shedding the last of his velvet
This guy was scrapping off his velvet while munching by the road. You can see some of the velvet hanging by his eye.
