Thanks for the kind words, Paul. As to the A2, I am quite happy with it since it has proven to be a very capable camera if one doesn't expect noise-free images, noise being something inherent to any digital camera with a small sensor. However, speaking for myself I wouldn't buy anything until after the Photokina show at the end of September when all the latest and greatest models are announced. If nothing else, this usually results in lower prices on current models.

Consistently great images, even when you work within the confines of your house or yard - a real photographer's eye..

and just interesting to note that you are using an A2...I'm considering this route to make a return to active photography.

Also interesting to note that on www.usefilm.com another photographer you would like, Patrick Di Fruscia, also uses Minolta equipment. You'e a couple of fine adverts for Minolta cameras and lenses.

But this is impressive from an A2...can I get on with the screen though?
