Blocks of Snow

And this is the final processed file with the viewer's eye
fixed firmly on the blocks of snow, which are what had caught
my eye when first viewing this scene.

Good tutorial. I'm a beginner but I had still thought of a lot of this but it somehow feels a bit like cheating? I guess to make an artistic statement, it is perfectly reasonable to delete extraneous features though. One thing puzzles me - why did you leave in the front shadow - it seems to relate to an external object and IMO spoils the purity of the picture - although it leads the eye to the centre of the image the perspective of the front block does this naturally anyway doesn't it? Not a criticism -I'm just genuinely interested in your reasoning.
