Until visiting the Gulf coast, I never realized how much wind can
affect water levels. At this location, on the north side of Powederhorn
Lake, wind from the north (as we've had for several days) blows the lake
water to the south away from us and leaves things high and dry that are
usually out in the water. Pretty amazing.
