Message from John Davies
I have been retired for a number of years. I found photography as an interest late in life. It has provided great enjoyment. A rewarding day may be spent in the countryside or perhaps on the coast or in a City wandering around with my camera and a few lenses. Heaven.
I have a modern full frame mirrorless camera. Since 2010 I have acquired a number of old lenses from the days of film. Many purchased for very little. They are now becoming much more expensive. I do rather enjoy using old lenses, although I have some modern. I get pleasure from using manual focus and settings. I also have several modern manual focus lenses. My eyesight is not what it was and I have some automatic focus lenses just in case.
