Hi I have recently aquired a jedson tele bass for £40 I wanted a cheap base for recording I am normally a guitar player and I found the short scale telebase was easier to adapt to I had to move the bridge back a little to rectifiey its intonality but it cleaned up well and sounds great for a forty year old guitar I am quit familiar with guitars I own a few decent ones but should like to know why jedson needed to use zero fretting, and why they needed to fit a bridge with ajustable rollers. I would also like to know what are the best guage of strings to use I am currently using 30 to 95s

I have a 12 string Jedson in immaculate condition that was my late husbands. I am interested in selling it, but unsure as to how/where to advertise it. You seem very knowledgeable, can you help at all? Will understand if you cannot of course.

Hi Mark,
I have a 103NT also. I'd seen you've replaced the original tone knobs. That's what i want to do also. But i don't know how to get them off. I don't want to crash the original ones.
So how did you get them off? And what knobs did you install?

regards from munich, bavaria

Hi mark, thought you might like to know that i have a thin line arch top almost identical to yours and at least in as good a condition.I have owned it for at least 35 years being kept in a case with little use in all that time. The guitar is original from new and the only difference i can see from yours is the bridge which on mine seems more sophisticated and the pick ups changeover switch back plate, mine is direct to the body of the guitar.Regards, Tom Harper England.

Hi Mark. I own an exact copy of the solid body natural finish LesPaul Jedson.
Can you give me some idea of what it is worth.
Do you need a serial number?
I look forward to your response thanks Mark. England

Hi Mark,
In 1972 I bought a Jedson F9000 jumbo six string acoustic guitar from a shop in London with the intention of learning to play. The Jedson was new and I paid £20. Unfortunately, I never did learn to play and my guitar is hence in excellent condition and virtually unused. I am now thinking of selling, do you know how much it would be worth today?
Regards, Chris

hey i see you have a few photos of jedson guitars. i recently purchased a eb3 copy bass and believe it may be a jedson. sadly it has been painted over and the headstock had a gibson decal added to it by a previous owner. i was wondering if you had any more information on jedson bass guitars as they seem to be incredibly elusive.

i believe it is a jedson because of the very unique bridge piece that it has on it and the sg copy that you have has the exact same bridge and endpiece. If you do have any more information it would be much appreciated

thank you
