Only the British could call a "Pinky.. orangy" rose.... "VIOLET CARSON" ???
This of course was name after the british Actress Violet Cason of "Coronation Street" fame.

Absolutely beautiful rose-V for Vendetta movie referred to a Scarlet Carson which does not exist. It was changed from a violet carson in the comic book to scarlet carson in the movie.

I've always assumed that the Violet Carson was named after the actress, not with an eye towards the color.
