In late July I accompanied sisters Gail King and Jane Hutchinson on their first birding trip to the mecca of SE AZ. We had a fantastic trip, with practically all targets seen. I got 1 lifer (Varied Bunting) and 1 ABA bird (Berylline Hummingbird), but still need Mythical Quail (aka Montezuma Quail :"). But, I also added almost 20 birds to my photo list, so I'm quite happy!

We visited most of the hotspots, including:
Portal and the Chiricahua's (stayed at Cave Creek Ranch)
Huachuca's (Garden,Miller,Carr, and Ash Canyons), San Pedro House,stayed at Beatty's
Patagonia, Montosa Canyon, Madera Canyon, Sweetwater wetlands (stayed in Green Valley)

We birded the last couple of days with Melody Kehl, http://ebiz.netopia.com/outdoor, which was a blast though our time with her that last day was totally a wash so to speak, as a monsoon preventend us from birding CA Gulch for Five-striped Sparrow.
