Western Grebe

Pace Point area; Henry Co TN

When the light hits it right, one of the birds shows a small gray area on the lores, and a slighty brighter bill. This is well in the range of Western, and most of the time this pale spot isn't visible. Generally they both gave the classic look of the eye surrounded by dark. The other bird is especially dark in this area already, helping the red eye to shine.
