This Red-necked Grebe has treated us to some great looks over the last week. Today it was working the general area behind the State Park visitor center. This bird can quickly cover some distance though as it swims and forages.

It was getting late when I got this shot; though dark, the general pattern and heavy yellowish bill can be seen.
