Hawk Owl's were just as prominate as Great Gray's, with at least 12 around the Sax-Zim area. They tend to be easier to find as they invariably perch in the most obvious places, and were very fond of overhead wires. This bird was perched not far from the road, and paid me no mind as I briefly stopped to take this shot out the window. From this angle the long tail is hidden.
