Eurasian Tree Sparrow

St. Louis, MO (Columbia River Bottoms Conservation Area)

A bit of a detour, but we decided to hit St. Louis on the way south since neither of my friends had Eurasian Tree Sparrow (not in NA anyway), and I needed it for my ABA photo list. After some research, seemed like Columbia River Bottoms CA was a good shot, and as soon as we got there a couple were around the feeding station. This made a new bird for my friends every day of the trip, including travel days. Not too bad.

These shots are all shot thru the windows of the headquarters area. Not ideal, but no way to stand near the feeders without spooking the birds.
