The bird took off just as I was about to digiscope it, which from this range would have been some very nice photos. Glad I got what I did though.
It was pratically dark when we left Goose Pond, and had about 500 miles to drive to get to Ashtabula, OH to try for the Black-tailed Gull the next morning.
