These images are very distant, on the far side of the lake from where we were. It was utter chaos on the water.

An adult, and near-adult Bald Eagle made a successful coordinated attack on a flotilla of coots. This lake is very shallow, so the coots didn't have anywhere to go and nowhere to hide, it was inevitable that their numbers would go down by at least one.
