Probably my favorite image of this bird, and the face looks more like you would expect on a Trumpeter than most of the shots.
I stayed in the car, but this bird was very nonchalant. This bird didn't appear to be banded anywhere, as I saw both the legs well enough that they weren't banded.
It seems that these birds will become more and more frequent with the success of the reintroductions to our north, as the last couple of winters can attest to.
