Several lessons learned here. The boom on the shop crane needs to be fully extended, and the load leveler needs to be set so the engine and transmission are almost parallel to the installed angle. This way, the engine mount bolts will slot right into the engine mounts, and the exhaust gas recirculation pipe on the passenger side of the engine will not interfere with the passenger footbox.
