Black Larches

Torridon, Scotland

Along the Torridon valley close to the village of Torridon are these black larches
Caused by a flash fire a couple of years back
They make for a strong subject against the autumnal colours with there silvery branches

Beautiful capture of the burned trees! They look fabulous against the golden background! :)
I'm thinking that Yellowstone's burned forests might also provide some interesting images as well.

I think this is my favourite capture of the trees. I like the composition, having the background of the valley puts the trees in context.V
