The crator of Mount Vesuvius in the Bay of Naples, Italy
The climb to the top is spectacular and gives that real sense of the power mother nature possesses
Vesuvius is still regarded as an active volcano, although its current activity produces little more than steam from vents at the bottom of the crater
Not sure I would want to be one of the 800,000 people living below it!
