Our friend Bob Bruce builds and flies experimental airplanes. Here he works on his second airplane, which he and his wife and co-pilot Mary Jane have dubbed 'Carmella.' (You would never guess they are fans of the HBO series 'The Soprano's' They also have a second airplane that Bob built a few years back; that one is named 'Christine'.

Homebuilt airplanes require exceedingly precise, exacting work. Beth wrote a story about Bob and Mary Jane and their aviation exploits; here Tony captures Bob concentrating on his assembly work. The picture was published in black and white by the Record-Searchlight to accompany Beth's story.
