This is our friend Bill Divens, piloting his boat up the Sacramento River. We were doing between 40 and 50 miles and hour when this shot was taken.
Bill is an interesting guy. He and his wife Julie run a fishing guide/bed and breakfast business called the Salmon King Lodge. Before Bill became a full time guide, he was CEO of a high tech firm in the Bay Area and has a PhD. Nowadays, his Coast Guard Captain's license is his main credential.
