Beth wrote a story for Enjoy Magazine about Wolfgang R, a delightful young lady who is an organic farmer. Wolfgang is a graduate of UC Davis, and specializes in farming edible plants that are actually native to our area. In addition to having an encyclopedic knowledge of the botany of our area, she makes dynamite cookies--out of acorns!

Tony tagged along to shoot pictures when Beth interviewed. Here, Wolfgang shows us the roots of a legumet. The small round looking parts of the plants are rhizomes, which impart nitrogen, and important plant nutrient, to the soil.
