I just love how organic and otherworldly this looks at the same time.

Hmmm... you did this with PP? I may need to "play" more then. This is fabulous (sp?)
I too like the colours on this best.

Beautiful work, as always.

Hi evans,
Gee whiz, I did not get there first! Well put. Thanks. I did a lot of pp – just teetering between trying to create a ‘greatly’ and ghastly thing… The results usually make me think of GM stuff. Who can tell whether in the future we wouldn’t have a tree with blue leaves and red trunks, etc. especially after listening to all these gardening scheme discussions on the telly – a bit off the subject. Nice to hear comments. This heavy handed pp is probably not everyone’s cup of tea and it begins to cross from photography to … I am just having fun, that’s all. :-)
Cheers

Hey, who says nature's wonderful offerings can't be augmented in the name of Art? The fuschia species was no doubt the result of a selective breeding programme after all, so humans have already influenced its appearance before you got to it! ;) Tough choice, but I too would go with the blue/mauve one I think. Great framing and pp btw.
