Stephie and Sean were married in mid-December 2006, in a beautiful Greek Orthodox Church in Oakmont PA. I love shooting winter weddings - but on this day, it was nearly 50 degrees! So we had the best of both worlds - the chance to take some outdoor photos (at the lovely Oakmont Inn), no snow to deal with, and festive holiday decorations!

I had never photographed a Greek Orthodox ceremony, and it was just lovely. Stephie's mom brought all the pillar candles and lanterns, all the way from West Virginia to light the chuch aisle!

The reception was held at the nearby Oakmont Country Club. Stephie and Sean invited 40 or so of their closest friends and family, for as Stephie put it, a Greek Orthodox wedding has either 40 or 400 guests! Sean surprised Stephie, with an unexpected dance at the beginning of dinner! At the end of the intimate dinner reception, Sean, who is a State Rep in PA, unexpectedly ran into colleague State Rep. Bill DeWeese! Talk about co-incidences!

Congratulations Stephie and Sean! It was just beautiful!
