As Linda and I were walking back to the house I happen to notice this pine tree. The tree is alive and growing very well. This area was hit by the Blizzard of 93 (26" in this area) and many trees either broke or were pushed to the ground under the weight because they were so small. Over the years this tree has grown parallel to the ground to get to the sunlight. The top is of the tree has started growing vertical.
