Close to 100 years of silt flowing down the Toccoa River from Lake Blue Ridge Dam has built little Silt Islands around the concrete pillars of the old Curtis Switch Road Bridge. You can walk out on these but I would not during rainy months such as April. One slip and you will be getting out of the Toccoa River in Tennessee.
