Random Springtime Flowers

I found these just randomly in the grass on a noontime walk. I am not sure what they are, but thought they were unique. Of course it is noon time on a clear day, so the lighting was terrible. I had to move my body into position to cast a shadow, to get better lighting. I had another image, where I moved my hand in into a shadow position with my fingers spread, that would have been a more interesting lighting situation, but my camera didn't focus well on that one. So, this is what we got. Still nice flowers though! Now that I look at it, the center is a little too luminescent. I did that with Lightroom software. That is what we get, when we have bad lighting. You can't do much with it. Maybe at one point, I will go back over it. While doing this, I played with it for a few minutes, trying to get a nice brilliant image, yet trying not to over tip the balance.

Hey thanks for looking! I can't take credit for the beauty though, that is all mother nature. The soft focus was all Canon, I am afraid.. It is just a Canon Elph 300 HS, so I don't really have many controls! I still have my DSLRs and use them on occasion, but mostly I just carry the Elph with me. I like my photography much more these days. Just snaps in time... No real thought, or effort.
