Dansk riflet granatkanon, System 1833/1862

Tøjhusmuseet, København

18-punds riflet forladekanon av Flåtens System 1833/1862. Brukt på fregatten "Jylland" under slaget ved Helgoland i 1864.

Dette er altså en eldre kanon som i ettertid har blitt boret opp og riflet for større rekkevidde og presisjon. Denne skjebnen ble også mange 1700-talls bronsekanoner til del.
