Natives and Federal Fisheries crew net and net and tag fish where the Big Shuswap Lake enters the Mouth of the Adams River. A makeshift tower holds a perched counter of fish and then you see these people busy inside the nets. The tag fish go inland, to the lower Adams lake, and now to the re-established upper Adams Lake spawning beds. Once tagged, a helicopter can track the numbers by air and follow them as the fish die and are washed back down to the Thompson River.
