The sunflower (Helianthus annuus) is an annual plant native to the Americas in the family Asteraceae, with a large flowering head (inflorescence).
The stem of the flower can grow as high as 3 metres tall, with the flower head reaching up to 30 cm in diameter with the "large" seeds..

WOW ! How do I start ? This is an amazing gallery, each and every shot is a result of excellent photography and first class editing. ok ive been following your photos for a while now. they are amazing, but please please get rid of all the animation on your site. it hurts everybody's eyes, its like watching cartoons, all the brightness and epileptic movements whereever you take the mouse. its getting a little old now. thanks.
