Because the night
I’m delighted that some virtual companions have taken these night wanderings with me.
I mean all the people who have been so kind to leave a comment to this gallery.
I voluntary chose here “low profile” subjects.
No impressive monuments, no large rich, shining squares.
Simply little common houses in my neighbourhood or in near villages.
My parents’ in-law home, the baker’s, the library…
and other anonymous ones.
At least once in their honest life of unpretentious buildings, they have the leading role.
So thank you for the attention you have given to this series of photos!
I thank you also in name of the houses, which cannot speak, but can wink at you silently by their lit up windows.
Poised between night & day...
The night walked down the sky over Bruxelles with the moon in her hand
"I often think that the night is more alive and more richly colored than the day"

Sleep well, Petite France...
Like thousands of many other people
I have been deeply attracted
by the charm of this neighbourhood of Strasbourg,
called “Petite France”
( unluckily the name, which means “Small France”
has not any poetic origin –
as tourists might imagine - ,
since it was taken from an old hospital for sexual diseases,
which was built here during the 16th century,
but, this is, of course, another story…)
I decided to show this district after sunset and during the night…
