The structure of the fairs was supposed to recreate
a countryside cosy ambiance,
composed by many chalets,
each one representative of a different village.
In every chalet they proposed typical product of the village.
In many cases they also offered free local delicacies.

Here there is a tray of freshly baked “Petits Pains de Rolle”,
sweet home baked buns, a speciality of Rolle.

After a couple of hours they were quite disappeared,
even though kind ladies kept on filling up the tray...
