This is one of the best shots I've ever seen. It's a true work of art.
Wish I could vote twice.

Hmm! For one moment I thought:"gee, what an unusual capture took Marisa !" Then I realised that you probably launched a strong spell to some aggressive thief and turned him into a mouse. Then the raven came and eate the mouse. Clever setup! :))) voted!

Have you seen the Halloween special of The Simpsons that uses this Poe story? (Always with The Simpsons, I know..). This is an impressive capture. He looks unnaturally large but ravens up close always do. The backdrop, so severe and angular is excellent in contrast to his languid irregularity.

Wonderful capture.

What an image Marisa!! I just can't stop looking at it. It's simplicity (not in making it I am sure!) in the composition is just...ah I am speachless. Not so dark for me...actually peaceful..it's balanced, as if all the peaces fit together. Nothing threatening...all natural. Maybe the echo of the bridge railings with the wings..I don't know, but it's unnervingly peaceful...I'm rambling. A great, great image. Khal

You've disturbed him. I can see it in his eyes.

Great shadow play mixed with the linear geometry.

...a bit "incongruous" - not sure what happened there ;0)

Great forboding here - like it is leaving the scene of the crime - reminicent of the term for crows in groups as 'murder of crows'. This poor bird species gets a bad rep - but so effective in portraying the 'dark side' :o)
