Prangins is an amazing little village where I go at least four times a week.



Theoretically it’s a separate village, but actually it’s within walking distance from Nyon even though often we get there by car, just for laziness or because of endemic lack of time.

In Prangins there is, besides our favourite cafe, the best baker’s of the area and a small but worthy grocer’s shop with the freshest fruit and vegetables, mostly from the region.

So we bought there a basket of strawberries with a heavenly scent to share with my mother-in-law.

This photo is taken, a little after nine in Gland (another nearby village) in my mother’s in law garden.

She was happy to get the strawberries.
