The refined art of meditation...

The refined art of meditation might be mistaken for the gorgeous art of laziness.
Actually they can be interconnected...
Both are enriching, because they mean a conversation with oneself.

This photo is not isolated,
but it's part of a thematic gallery
dedicated to the daily little things which are the basis of happiness.

This is truly beautiful...the muted toning colours and soft glow. A lovely scene...I imagine the cat is the expert lazy meditator.

What a peaceful spot to contemplate. I love the lighting and, of course, the cat!

"dedicated to the daily little things which are the basis of happiness"

I could not agree more.
Little things make ourselves alive! My mom has a small farm about 2h driving NW of Rio and the administrator (which work with us for more than 40 years!!) uses to say the progress is wonderful. TV, internet, faster transportation etc. However, with all those things one does not see or doesn't care anymore for a flower blooming, a hummingbird in the wild or even the ants migrating! :)
