24 hours in Le Mans

24 hours in le Mans was a dream for me. When I was young, one of my favorite bedside
books was one relating the 1968 Jacky Ickx victory driving a Gulf Ford GT 40 against a
Porsche armada.
When we came in the circuit and when I saw the length of hundreds of telelenses all pointed
on the road, I thought it would be better to let professionnals make the best running cars pictures, I'd rather look around and make a coverage of all
but the race even if I tried some!!
24 full hours with no sleeping, huge noise, dust everywhere, very hot sun, huge crowd,
some liters of bier and plenty of things to capture around. Le Mans is a complete and
fascinating spectacle.
Many thanks to Michel for organisation, driving, kindness and presence beside me during
these unforgettable moments.

Tu n'as pas perdu ton temps Marc. La course m'est entrée par tous les pores de la peau pendant que je regardais tes images. Superbe manière personnelle de traiter le sujet. Cela va bien plus loin que du reportage.
