This gallery contains images from the 2009 Tour Down Under race held in and around Adelaide. This event was the return to stage racing for Lance Armstrong, winner of 7 consecutive Tour de France stage races. The bike Lance raced was made especially for him and contains two numbers, these being 27.5 and 1274. What these numbers mean is there have been 27.5 million deaths through cancer in the 1274 days in which Lance was retired from professional cycling.
